Sifu Tony Best has been involved in the martial arts for more than 30 years.He holds a Blackbelt in the Interntional Taekwondo Federation, a 2nd degree blak belt in the World Taekwondo Federation, 3rd Degree black belt in Goju USA Karate and trained for 2 years in Pananadata (Philipino stick/knife fighting). Sifu Tony now has earned his Jo Gow (Black Belt Level) in the Tang Fong Hung Ga Kung Fu System. He is a Yap Moon Disciple of Master Pedro Cepero Yee, training with his Sifu for more than 10 years. Tony has won numerous martial arts forms, weapons and fighting championships, including winning the Wing Lam Great Lakes Kung Fu heavy weight Championship. Tony continues to study privately with his Sifu.

Sifu Ben Smith has been involved in martial arts for nearly 30 years starting with a Hung Gar/ Northern Style Hybrid system, JuJitsu and Shotokan Karate. In 1993 he met and began studying privately the Tang Fong Hung Ga under his teacher Master Pedro Cepero Yee. He assisted his teacher at the Clifton NJ branch and since then, has earned his Jo Gow (Black Belt Level) and is a Yap Moon disciple and continues to study privately with his Sifu.


In 2001, both Sifu's Ben and Tony have together founded the Carlstadt branch of Yee's Hung Ga where they are now passing on the style in the tradition of our Association.
